Not normal: I would schedule a visit for an exam. Those do not sound like symptoms of Progesterone. Start with urine testing for infection

Unusual choice: It would be an odd choice of treatment, at least in the us. Although it's actions are very similar to native progesterone, i agree i would consider its use controversial. Discuss your concern  again with your doctor, for sure.

Unusual choice: Primolut is a synthetic progestin, norethisterone: it would be an odd choice of treatment, at least in the us. Although it's actions are very similar to native progesterone, most advise avoiding synthetic progestins when pregnant. Discuss your concern  again with your doctor, for sure.

Weight gain,: and irritability would be common side effects. Period flow could be light or absent.

i've been injected with lupron depot 11.25mg to shrink my fibroids for surgery and i'm taking norethindrone to help with the heavy bleeding. is it safe to take tranexamic acid while on lupron and norethindrone? or is it one or the other?

: With heavy bleeding this combination should be ok.  Tranexamic acid carries a low risk of deep vein thrombosis, so benefit and risk have to be considered.

Yes ,  will increase: A synthetic Progesterone , has less side effects than natural one, used for excessive bleeding, regulate cycle , menopausal symptoms , will elevate blood sugar , usually not indicated in diabetics , if used need to adjust diabetic medications.

Can not predict: One can not predict how fast Progesterone will stop menstrual bleeding in any one individual.

Primolut: I had to look this one up because its a Progesterone used in europe, primarily the uk.  Assuming it is like using  Provera (medroxyprogesterone) and when i prescribe provera, (medroxyprogesterone) i tell patients to take the full number of pills i prescribed.  Progesterones are most commonly used to bring on a menses, but there are other uses. So, finish the full 7 days.

If primolut is the: Oral contraceptive that your regularly use, then yes- you can add an i-pill to this (if emergency contraception is needed).

Yes: Yes, it may increase sex drive.
