Stop all. Start over: One meal a day is unhealthy. Your metabolic rate slows. You get fat. Long-term use of Prilosec stops proper digestion and is not approved. And can cause diarrhea! Imodium (loperamide) binds you up. Stop all self therapy and give yourself a break...

Could : Be a motility issue.  Delayed emptying of the stomach.  See your doctor and maybe a GI doctor for a full work up

A few suggestions: Both weight loss and improvement in your symptoms can be helped by eating several small meals during the day.  This will keep your metabolism up and help with your LPR symptoms.  Drink plenty of water during the day to soothe your throat and keep you feeling full.  Also, Prilosec is often dosed up to 40 mg twice/day for LPR rather than the usual 20 or 40 mg once/day.

See doctor: Your question may have been addressed earlier too. It is unlikely that you have cancer. H pylori infection is more likely and is treatable with antibiotics. See a doctor for evaluation and treatment.

Not necessarily: Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) can be taken at any time of the day without regard to meals. However if you are taking it after meals and is not working for you should try taking it before meals and see if that produces better results. Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) does not work immediately like some other heartburn medications so you should use it daily for at least a few weeks before deciding if it works or not.

it says to take bentyl (dicyclomine) 30-60 minutes before meals. does that mean it will not work if you  take it anytime during the day & not just before meals?

Will still work: Since Bentyl (dicyclomine) is an antispasmodic, it is used to "relax" the bowels. In IBS, many events are triggered by food so Bentyl (dicyclomine) is generally taken a little before every meal.

Anytime: Beta blocker could be taken with food before or after meal. Taking it with food will minimize the side effect given the slow absorption. You need to read the label of specific bb.

Safe, yes: But it may not be necessary.  If you are having digestion problems, it won't hurt to try taking digestive enzymes with your meals.  People with pancreatic insufficiency really need to take them.  Others without this disorder can sometimes benefit as well.  If your symptoms persist you should see a doctor.
