hi.i used antibiotics for two years, highest dose of reacutan for seven months a long time ago.i tried all sorts.why is my skin terrible.i am healthy.

Acne?: I believe you are saying you have bad acne and various treatments such as antibiotics or Accutane have not helped.  This is certainly unusual as Accutane is highly effective against most severe acne conditions.  You need to see a dermatologist for a thorough evaluation.

You can't: Believe it or not, it takes quite a bit of schooling and training to be good at it. Please see your doctor or dermatologist.

Lump: Could be some type of blocked/infected skin cyst. If recurring after antibiotics probably needs excision.

See below: The primary treatment of an abscess is drainage. Antibiotics can effect improvement in the surrounding soft tissue infection in 2-4 days but drainage is primary.

Yes: You could keep the area covered with a bandage, and wash your hands frequently. Unless you work around very ill people in a healthcare situation, you are at low risk to other people at work or at home.

Not recommended: As harmless as an antibiotic cream might seem, it is actually absorbed into the skin and the rest of the body. That means different germs 'see' this medication and can generate resistance to it - which may be an issue down the road. (Hopefully never but you can't predict the future). Better to find out what exactly is causing the rash and base your treatment on that. A dermatologist may be of help

Skin resurfacing: Sounds like you may need skin resurfacing with fraxel.  It depends on your skin tone and finances.  Fraxel is a nice way of resurfacing the skin and improving, not getting rid of all, scars and discoloration.  You would need to be off the Accutane for at least 6 months before fraxel.  If still breaking out, then spironolactone pills are good option to control acne.

had subaceous cyst gettin to a head. dr gave antibiotics to cure. 2nd day of antibios, cyst popped fluid came out. do i still need 2continue antibios?

Ruptured cyst: I would suggest you continue your full course of antibiotics as your doctor prescribed.

i was diagnosed with mastoid sinus 6 days ago.i have finished the antibiotics and am taking cocodomol 30/500gms and sentraline . head is still hurting?

If not better...: One can see the doctor again. Not getting better after antibiotic treatment can mean the symptoms are not caused by bacteria, or that bacteria are still causing symptoms because and needs a different antibiotic (or a bigger dose) for a larger number of days, or some other reason. If not improved after additional treatment, an Ear-Nose-Throat specialist can evaluate.
