Education: The more education teens get, the lower the pregnancy rate.  They need to know about how babies are made (you'd be amazed how many don't know), how they are not made, all about birth control and all about sexually transmitted diseases.  The more information they have, the less likely they are to make unplanned babies.  Abstinence education, when that's all the information they get, is worthless.

Yes : The teenage pregnancy rate has dropped yearly since I graduated medical school in 1990.I'm sure the "interventions" in high schools are not the sole cause of this, but certainly are in part.

Best advice: Is to not get pregnant. If pregnant then see an obstetrician and follow their guidelines to have a healthy baby!( I do not advise getting vaccines while pregnant, but that is your decision). Eat well, lots fresh fruits and veggies, do your best to stay calm and not get stressed and enjoy.

Obvious: Alcohol is said to "increase the desire but decrease the performance". A "difficult life" is self imposed and is a consequence of unexamined actions. We stare at the obvious and ignore it because, like the ancient romans, we are rapidly becoming ruled by hedonism.

It is a difficult time for the girl who is now a unready mother and a difficult environment for a baby to grow in. Not all teenage pregnancies tend to have a negative outcome. However, given the absence of a social, financial structure confounded by the absence of the father, it is a challenging time.
