There is a wide spectrum of asthma severity & you may need different strength of meds based on yr symptoms & pfts.

Hard to predict: Some actually see an improvement with mild exercise. It is reasonable to do peek flows before &amp; after to see how that level of workout effects you.

Inhalers like albuterol relax & open up airways; inhalers like Flovent (steroid) prevent or decrease swelling & mucus. Many children outgrow their asthma, so are almost "cured" but may get an episode years later.
