Not really: If you are having symptoms due to an asthma flare up, the best strategy would be to use a rescue inhaler/nebulization treatment such as albuterol for quick relief of symptoms. If you continue to have frequent symptoms that recur more than 2 times per week or have frequent night-time symptoms, then you may also require a daily controller medication such as inhaled steroids as well. Talk to your doc.
