Do complete thyroid: work up, and panel and looking at the thyroid hormone, and the three T3, (liothyronine) free T4, RT three, antibody panels to rule out that there may not be this component causing problem. Sometimes postpartumly, if your pituitary was affected, this needs to be looked at too.

Hair loss. : If you’re continuing in family planning mode, then resume the prenatal vitamins. If not, then the hair and nails formulation would suffice. Regardless, the hair loss is expected, as you mentioned, and is related to rapid hormonal changes that occur at delivery. These changes occur quickly and self-correct very slowly.

Low iron: Your level of ferritin indicates that you have low iron storage. I recommend start taking iron supplement. Low iron level would cause hair loss or thinning of hair.

See dermatologist: You need to properly diagnose  this hair loss. Should it be the very common androgenetic alopecia, known as male pattern baldness, he will provide you with possibly an oral med along with a topical otc med to help you. However, it just might be something different, and that is why you should be evaluated.

Minoxidil: Best treatment is rogaine (minoxidil) and/or Propecia (finasteride). The earlier you start rogaine the better--more effective at slowing down hair loss than it is at growing hair after it's gone. Need to keep using it in order to keep the benefits.  Same with propecia.
