Breathing in water: because the water has mass and indeed is putting pressure on your chest. The deeper you go the higher the pressure applied.

this has been happening frequently chest pressure across my chest and sometimes on my left breast. i sometimes have a hard time taking deep breathes. im not sure if i have asthma because when i exercise i have chest tightness and it hard to breathe?

: It could be asthma, allergies or just that you are out of shape and need to improve your general health and exercise routine. I'd  start by seeing a pulmonologist,  a doctor who specializes in lung problems.  He can order testing to see if you have any lung problems that limit your respiratory reserve.  More rarely can be cardiac in origin, but that would be very unusual at your age.

Chest pressure: Chest pressure and shortness of breath could be from heart or from lung. If you have blocks in heart arteries it could cause above symptoms. Or if you have COPD and air trapping, that can also cause above symptoms. Consult your physician for physical exam and work-up.

Read dr. Richard hoffman's book on mvp on amazon.Com.  Increase fluid intake, try magnesium supplements.

There are many: different forms of SVT so it is difficult to answer with certainty however in general anything that modifies the conduction timing in the heart or the frequency and timing of extra heart beats can trigger an SVT in a susceptible patient. Stretching and deep breathing can modify the physical structure of the heart and thereby the timing by increasing the blood return or trigger extrasystoles.
