Hopefully not!: An ectopic pregnancy is suspected in the following setting:

1.  A patient is pregnant
2.  Hcg levels are rising abnormally
3.  Pain is present on one side of the other
4.  There is findings on ultrasound of a mass or cystic area near one of the ovaries

it would be very early to have symptoms this early after ivf and this is more likely related to an ovarian cyst - call your ob/gyn!

Be optimistic: It is neither one, it is an "occupational hazard;" in other words it happens all the time. it doe snot predict at all whether the ET was successful. Think positive, please follow all your doctor's instructions, and good luck with your pregnancy test.

Could be: You need careful monitoring after embryo transfer. Endometriosis can cause pain too and actually pain can be higher than normal with early pregnancy and endometriosis.

Not usually: They typically don't change symptoms.  If in a fresh cycle, the high Progesterone levels in your body can make the symptoms more prominent.

Yes: You are nearly certain of being pregnant. The blood test tomorrow is very important as well, so be sure to keep up with that.

Follow your clinic: Your doctor and ivf clinic most likely gave you instructions when to come in for a blood pregnancy test. You should follow their instructions. It is not a good idea to test on your own.

Too early to give up: You may still be too early to see a positive urine test.  In the absence of any bleeding it is premature to draw any conclusions.

Nothing special: Just eat a good rational diet with adequate calories, protein, carb's and fat.

Still good: I would not necessarily expect the pregnancy test to be positive yet. If you aren't bleeding, that is a good sign.
