Yes: I recommend Tylenol (acetaminophen). Avoid NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve which can be harmful. You can try a warm bath and also heating pads. If this does not help, bring your symptoms up at your next appointment. Best of luck!

Progesterone: Progesterone and pregnancy hormone changes can cause aches, pains and nausea.  Lots of changes occur with pregnancy.  There are lots of books to read about pregnancy and you should see your midwife or ob/gyn soon.

Accepted Answer

Yes.: Round ligament pain is a normal pregnancy symptom/discomfort that should gradually improve and generally respond to tylenol (acetaminophen) and rest/avoidance of prolonged standing. If the pain is severe or persistent despite rest and tylenol (acetaminophen) see your obstetrician for advice. Take Folic Acid and good luck!

It will get better: Breast tenderness is one of the most common symptoms of early pregnancy. It is so common that it is the tip-off to some women that they are, indeed, pregnant. It will get better after the first trimester.  Wearing a supportive bra can help.  Sports bras can be great because they are very supportive and will accommodate changes in breast size that may also happen at this time.

Infections : Infections of this type are not more common in pregnancy. It may be that you had been exposed to someone with an infection recently. Check with your OB if you do not improve over the next week or two. Sometimes it takes a while (several weeks)  for hoarseness to improve after a viral infection. I hope you don't smoke since that can slow healing and be bad for the baby.

Safety First: If you can tough it out less is more in this case.  Home remedies like ginger, ginger snaps, and ginger tea work well.  Also try an acupressure band for motion sickness.  If the nausea and possible vomiting that follows is unbearable and weight loss is a problem, you need to talk to your provider about other prescription medications that may be useful and possible testing for a cause if necessary.

Good to check: If you are having pain that you feel is not normal it is best to see your Obgyn for an evaluation. In the first trimester they ned to make sure there is a baby located inside of the uterus and not an ectopic pregnancy. They can also evaluate the ovaries for a corpus luteum cyst and others. Left lower abdominal pain sometimes is constipation

Not usually: Generally, the best ultrasound for dating is an early first trimester ultrasound.  It is unlikely to be off by that much from where the actual pregnancy dates are, but it might be off from your menstrually calculated due date due to issues with when your last period was.
