Good to check: If you are having pain that you feel is not normal it is best to see your Obgyn for an evaluation. In the first trimester they ned to make sure there is a baby located inside of the uterus and not an ectopic pregnancy. They can also evaluate the ovaries for a corpus luteum cyst and others. Left lower abdominal pain sometimes is constipation
