Similar to ejaculate: Secretion produced by cowpers gland (pre-ejaculate) permit sperm to survive as witnessed by many unplanned pregnancies. Secretion is certainly not as nutritious for sperm as ejaculate produced by prosate ; seminal vesicles.

Accepted Answer

Yes: The highest concentration of sperm is in the first ejaculatory impulse and if sperm get to the vaginal area pregnancy is possible. I had a patient who had 3 children despite the fact that she could not be penetrated. Check a pregnancy test if her period is late and encourage her to start a reliable method of contraception. Sperm swim very well!

It DOES!: Pre-ejaculate does in fact have sperm in it.  Sometimes a surprising amount!  It doesn't have ALL of the sperm available at that time, of course.  The larger amount of sperm are waiting in the ejaculatory ducts for the moment of orgasm.  But don't be fooled.  The clear seminal liquid has sperm swimming in it.  Try looking at it under a microscope and you'll see them!

It can: Yes it can and you cannot change that which is why we dot recommend the withdrawal method for birth control.

Accepted Answer

No: Pre-ejaculate fluid is the clear, colorless, viscous fluid that emits from the urethra of the human penis during sexual arousal. It is similar in composition to semen but has some significant chemical differences. The presence of sperm in the fluid is debated and if present at all would be very low numbers and have no effect on one's overall sperm count.

Nobody knows: Nobody knows, as we don't do research on pre-ejaculate (how would you collect it from 100 guys). Also, it doesn't matter, because life's rules don't change... meaning a couple would do a home pregnancy test if worried anyway (do it 3 weeks after sexual activity). In general, we think about sperm getting to an egg only if the penis was inside the vagina, without contraception of some kind.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Maybe. Little.: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Possible: The clitoris is quite near the introitus and sperm in that area will certainly increase the possibility of pregnancy.

Almost never: I hesitated to say completely never, as there is always one anecdote out in the world that would prove otherwise. To be safe and prudent going forward, use contraception as you never know when "dry" humping will "splashdown" into a "ocean" of fertile humping.

There is sperm: in the" pre-ejaculate",however,very unlikely that the above scenario would result in pregnancy.
