10-40%: Up to 40% have some degree of post-cholecystectomy syndrome though it often improves so only about 10-15% of cases are chronic. There are a variety of causes and sometimes the cause is not found, but dietary changes and supplements can often  help.

2 weeks post cholecystectomy and no more gb pain and no complications.  post op appt w/surgeon is next week.  when i get fatigued (easily right now) i feel some pain in rt shlder blade how long does it take to return to full strength? vary by person?

Recovery GB surgery: Yes it will vary widely depending on type of surgery. Best person to ask this is the surgeon  who did it how long do you think it will take me to recover?

Postcholecystectomy: Postcholecystectomy diarrhea is somewhat common but usually resolves after several days but can persist for years. It's thought to be caused by increased bile salts released into the intestinal tract after gall bladder removal.. Probiotics,enzymes most likely aren't effective here. For prolonged diarrhea, cholestyramine has been recommended.

GallBladder: "Post- most often relates to "AFTER" and cholecystectomy to the surgical procedure to remove the gallbladder. Post-cholecystectomy = their has been surgical removal of the gallbladder.  This term may be used in the patient history or as part of radiology reporting.  The common bile duct diameter of 7mm is normal for your age. Multiple possibiliti: Possible side affect of pain medication or anaesthesia,or may possibly surgical complication. Able to tolerate and keep liquids down? Any fever or other symptoms? Try to limit pain medication and take adequate liquids but if that doesn’t help,need to contact surgeon for further evaluation.

Heartburn: I don't see any harm in your taking occasional antacids like maalox or mylanta,but also avoid spicey foods, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and oily foods. Medications like zantac, nexium (esomeprazole) or prilosec are effective. Tums contain calcium and if you have a history of kidney stones or elevated serum calcium levels, they would be harmful if taken in large amounts.

Doubt related: I doubt it's related, especially if you have no fever, no abdominal pain,nausea,vomiting or jaundice. I'd guess it's some kind of viral infection you've got giving you the body aches and headache. Try over the counter pain relievers like acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or Naproxen as well as a heating pad or heated blanket on your sore muscles. A hot bath might feel good as well, and drink lots of water

status post cholecystectomy 4 days ago. today, very dizzy and nauseas. taking norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) for pain, but i have it even when i don't take the pain medicine.

Consult with: your surgeon immediately, because it could be bleeding, bile leak, infection, or some other surgical complication, especially if you have fever, vomiting, distention, or jaundice.  Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a narcotic pain med, which sometimes can cause ileus or constipation.

Yes: Especially if you had a catheter inserted during or after the operation.  Ask your surgeon for specific recommendation and treatment.
