: No, it is not curable. I wish he can achieve a remission. In general, the maximal 5 year survival rate of this metastatic cancer is only 30%.

Maybe?: Typically ports are as maintenance and problem free as can be but they can cause problems in some circumstances. Tell your doc to have it checked. The pain may have nothing to do with it.

Yes for Venous Acces: Most chemo is given via the veins of your arms but it can cause quite a bit of burning pain. Moreover the veins tend to close down(thrombosed) ,so you would soon run out of the veins of your arms.
In order to avoid this problem oncologists like to use a long catheter(PICC line) or insert a Port(which is a surgical procedure).So there are 3 ways to access the veins...your oncologist should explain.

Access Vein: Implanted port is to access vein for chemotherapy and not to use peripheral vein freouently especially in pediatrics because  start iv, is very difficult in children because the vein are very small .

Need more info: A port is typically removed if the Cancer is under full control(Cancer free). if there is some doubt that you may need to reuse the port soon, then it is best left inside for 3-6 months. But if you have  bad skin reaction near the port, your doctor can easily remove the port , knowing that you may  need another surgery to put the port back in case your cancer requires further treatment in future

Lyme infects joints: and nerves. The erythema annular does not scar. So, 'no' on lyme. However, previous scarring would do this. Prior procedures/surgeries in the same area certainly would do this. Alternatively other medical conditions (scleroderma) that cause scarring could also do this.

None.: It  is caused by a spontaneous mutation during embryonic development; discovered last year, it causes permanent  malformations of capillaries locally.  In some cases when it affects the face, cranium, or an extremely, there may be underlying vascular anomalies, (Surge-Weber syndrome and  Klippel–Trénaunay–Weber syndrome), present prior to birth. Coordinate anesthesia for high dose laser therapy.

Inflammation: Inflammation or reaction to a foreign body like a bacteria such as infectio fluid in the lungs are also some disease states that cause your body to attack its own tissue and i can closterwood in the longs also remember that all these connect organs are connected in some way to each other in the chest so if the heart fails fluking back up into the lungs and vice versa is more competine you realize but it's a good question.
