my fart + poop smell has become really bad since i got diagnosed with gastritis after getting covid positive can anyone tell me what is the issue and how to fix it? also sometimes i get smell like my poop in my nose. it's all happening after covid?

: It could be due to Covid altering your smell or 'really smelly stools' caused by the kind of food you eat and change in bowel bacteria- or both. Best is to get checked by your doc. Hope you do well

Check with your MD: Check with your door, the two are not related.Watery stools may be from a virus infection or another GI infection.You have to drink enough clear liquids containing electrolytesto prevent dehydration.
Runny nose may be due to allergies or vasomotor rhinitis.

so this is a weird question, my left side inside of my nose always have a poop smell to it, the right side doesnt and i only know this is because when i shut my right side and breath i smell it and i dont when i shut my left side?

: The smell could come from the sinuses (maxillary, frontal) on the left although you are symptom free. If that smell bothers you or it gives you a bad breath, you should see an ENT doctor.

Viral illnes: it seems that your infant is going thru a viral illness. for the nasal congestion and cough saline nasal drops and keep a humidifier closed to the infant.  for the frequent stools may want o change the formula to a lactose free type and if breast feeding you may want to stay off dairy products until the process is over

my son touched dried bird poop with his finger and then put his finger in his nose. what should i do?

Watch for infection: Your son only  touched  the bird dried poop and put the finger in his nose, you clean his finger and nose with antiseptic  solution or wash with soap. Keep his finger and nose clean, dry .Watch if he gets cough cold or running nose (any viral infection) then see your doctor.Only touching dried bird poop briefly  then chances of getting any  infection are much less .

my poop(+fart) smell has changed(permanently) from 1 year, also i get the same smell in my nose(not always) and not as strong as poop but i get it in my nose and it's irritating. 2yrs ago i got covid(not tested tho). what could be the case with me?

: Distortion of smell may be a lingering result of a covid infection. Otherwise I don't place much emphasis on types of odors from flatus or BM's as long as appetite, your weight,
 bowel function and digestive functions are ok.

Nosebleeds: That your doctor should check you one of the many clotting deficiencies. Maybe your nose bled so much that you swallowed blood. What color is the blood in the stool?

Painful defecation: so I thing that your upper airway symptoms are direct result of your GI symptoms so if we can resolve your constipation it might take care of all other symptoms. Try over the counter laxatives and see your MD. If blood in stool persist after resolution of constipation, please see your MD

my 2 year olds poop has mucus in it and her poop is a rustic red color for three days now she also has a cold runny nose whiney etc ?
