Unclear question: Pancreas does not generally have polyps. While theoretically polyp may develop in the ducts, these are not generally know to occur. Colonic polyps are pre-cancerous.

i am having intense stabbing pain across upper abdomen, is this normal?

STOP NSAIDS!: Please stop advil (ibuprofen) and Ibuprofen unless there is a reason you must continue.  These can irritate your stomach and esophagus.  Have you tried reflux meds yet?  Need more history on your pain - how long, what is it like, what makes it better, what makes it worse.  Lab results?  Vital signs?

what test is the best test to look for pancreatic cancer i'm scared? i have abd pain had mri/us/ct only thing it show is gb stones or polyps please help

Imaging studies best: The tests you had are very sensitive for finding pancreatic masses. If they show only stones then that is the likely reason for pain. Pancreatic cancer is rare at your age and stones can commonly cause pain and are far more common in a young woman. Blood test for ca19-9 can be used but is not specific for cancer.

43 male. lipase normal. bilirubin normal. cbc normal. us normal other than fatty liver. gall has polyps.mid back pain. solar plexus pain. yellow stool. how is stool yellow if bilirubin. lipase is normal? what can cause this? is this pancreatic cance?

: If it's not from eating  carrots,sweet potatoes or excessive amounts of fatty foods, pancreatic insufficiency or blockage of pancreatic duct are possibilities. A gastroenterologist can advise you best.

Any symptoms?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your level is normal.

No: However, transplant of small cellular components of the pancreas which make the insulin, called islets, are done in a few experimental centers around the country.  In addition, some patients can do well with an external artificial Insulin pump which delivers Insulin over a two day period and has to be adjusted less frequently than given Insulin shots.

THC: binds to fat cells- pancreas beaks down fat as does pancrease (pancrelipase).

Where?: Where were the polyps? Throat, colon, vagina, skin???? You need to be specific. If none were found, you usually will not need a second opinion.

Gallbladder polyp: Depends on symptoms and size of polyps. If no symptoms and polyps are less than 10mm in size, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy recommends annual ultrasounds. If polyps increase in size surgical removal of gallbladder is recommended. In one large study about 3.5% of polyps increased in size within a year. Yours seem stable. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
