Could be thrush: It is possible that you have thrush, a yeast infection. It could also be something more serious but it is important that you see your doctor or dentist for further evaluation and treatment.

Aphthous ulcer: It's most likely a canker sore.  It is painful, I get them sometimes when I eat acidic foods.  You can put some oil of clove on it to numb it.  It will burn a bit when you put it on but will go away within a few minutes.  If your dentist has a soft tissue laser that can also help with the healing process.  It should go away in about a week.  Hope this helps!!!

Could be: Normal pigmentation. If they have just appeared as opposed to you just noticing them there are a number of causes like allergy, oral  fungal infections or even petchie from a low blood count. See your dentist and if not satisfied see your md.
