Fungus or-: The first thing i would have a doctor check for is a skin fungus by looking through a woods lamp or taking some scrapings. It could be psoriasis, eczema or actinic keratosis with the loss of hair being related to you picking at it. It would need to be seen.

dear dr. i have a small spot on one side on the tip of my nose and a lot of scaly skin that i scratch off and then it just returns again.  i'm afraid ?

Spot on nose: First of all,  put a moisturizer on the area 3 to 4 times a day.  It may resolve and be nothing to worry about in a few days.  Eucerin cream works nicely for this.  If is persists see a dermatologist.

Ring worm: It could be ring worm.  Ring worm is not a worm but a fungal infection.  It can be treated with a cream.  I suggest seeing your primary doctor for confirmation and treatment.  Here are some images for comparison.

i have a spot on my thigh that is not exactly perfectly cirular but close.is red round the outside scaly/flaky pinkish skin color inside.it burns abit?

Sounds like: it may be RINGWORM ( a mild fungal infection) TRY AN OTC anti-fungal agent...ask your Pharmacist for a recommendation!

i have heel pain only in one spot. it's the back inner side, where youd likely get scaly callus type skin you scrape off(i dont have that issue). no other area hurts, this area hurts me so bad i feel nauseated?

Achilles tendinitis : This is the area wear the Achilles’ tendon is attached. If you did not bruise the area tendinitis is then considered. Wearing high heeled shoes on regular basis can shorten the muscle/tendon.   Stretching the muscle properly may help.     heel lifts to both shoes may help take tension off the tendon. Icing and anti-inflammatory medication( ibuprofen or Aleve can help.

i have a spot on my nose, it is about half the size of a pencil eraser. it is a red dot that gets scaly (like dry skin). sometimes when i brush the skin off it will bleed. i have had it about 8 months. should i see a doctor about it?

Spots: Hard to tell without a picture.  Could be a fungal infection like ring worm, tinea corporis, or another type problem like eczema or psoriaris.
