they said i have a severe uti and yeast infection and they gave me fluconazole 1 dose and metronidazole n nitrofurantoin and ive been taking them since the 16th of this month n today i have pink discharge and stabbing pain in my vagina n pee but cant?

Not really: Fluconazole is a antifungal medication usage treat for for variety of fungal or yeast infection(s).  However, the medication is metabolized in the liver, and can interfere with other medications metabolized to the cytochrome P450 system in the liver, causing increase bleeding risk or bruising.  Consult your physician if you have persistent abnormal vaginal discharge.

ive also taken diflucan (fluconazole) but no period. just one day i wiped it was a brown discharge and then light pink but still no period??

Diflucan (fluconazole) should not: alter your period.  I would look for other causes for delayed menses. Could you be pregnant?

Other vaginitis: Fluconazole is an antifungal medication and thus only treats yeast/fungal infections. Bacterial vaginitis, trichomonas vaginitis, or chemical irritant cannot be treated by fluconazole. Urethral discharge such as gonorrhea can be a concern here as well.  I am not sure what type of discharge you are having and so can't tell what you may have. Consult doc. Good luck.

: The dead germs need to go somewhere. The increase should subside as no new ones are there to replace them. Please consult you doc as needed.

Why did you take it: I would like to know the reason why you are on Diflucan (fluconazole) . If this is for vaginal discharge ( yeast infection ) you need to wait for couple more days to clear . If you are taking it for some other fungal infection , I do not think it has nothing to do with your discharge

24 - 72 hours: If symptoms are still there after 3-4 days, you should either take a repeat dose or get re-evaluated if you did not have testing to confirm that it is a yeast infection. Fluconazole (diflucan) is not effective against bacterial vaginosis or stds.

No: This med is usually given as a single dose and never causes discharge. There are several causes for a discharge which are more likely than yeast. Discuss with your DR.

IT MAY NOT!: It may take 2-3 days or it may persist, depending on what caused it to begin with.

See a gynecologist: Without being able to examine you and the discharge there is no way in which to establish a diagnosis. Go and be evaluated by a professional.  Good luck.
