when i touch, the lower left side, it feels, irritated, and hurts, especially, when lying down, on the lower left side, of my stomach, and pulling sensation, i do feel like theres some resistance, or something pinched? are these adhesions?

: Adhesions from prior surgery can cause severe cramping discomfort from blockage of intestines. Other causes of left lower abdominal discomfort include diverticulitis of the descending colon, inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn's disease, abdominal muscle or superficial nerve irritability or pelvic organ pathology. If symptoms persist get examined &amp; advised by your physician or abdominal surgeon

been injured for about a month, primarily in the left bicep but also radiating throughout the entire arm at moments. severity of pain goes up and down. went to urgent treatment, who said it was a pulled bicep muscle. i was wondering about a pinched nerve. prior to this i was jarred down and landed on my back side, while in seated position. my upper abdomen and lower chest felt like it was compressed. felt like everything had been pushed down. any ideas? thanks.

You may be right: You could be right, although more information is needed.  In addition to a biceps strain or even tear, you may have a nerve issue coming from the brachial plexus, or even the neck (although you did not mention neck pain, but you did mention an axial compression type mechanism of injury).  I recommend a complete evaluation for the neck, shoulder, and arm by a specialist.

Asymmetric: It is not unusual to see some asymmetry between one side of the body and the other. However if you feel the difference is striking and if you feel anything that could be a mass, for peace of mind have an examination by a physician or abdominal surgeon.

Depending : Depending on your age and other comorbidities (like your general health, if you have risks for heart disease, if you smoke, etc) you really ought to consider getting back to your doctor asap.  Really, until proven otherwise, this sounds like a heart problem.  However, if that's definitively been ruled out to your doctor's and your satisfaction, there certainly some other more benign things to think of.

The first thing people think of with the right lower quadrant is related to the appendix.  Depending on the scan you had (contrast or not), they may have also been able to rule out diverticulosis (which may or may not hurt, and if becomes infected is called diverticulitis).  Depending on age and risks, you could have a blockage in the gut.  Sometimes people present to me with these symptoms and are just simply constipated (but -- that's a diagnosis i'd only make after an extensive evaluation of the other things i've listed here).

I've had patients with gall bladder problems present with right lower abdominal pain and ct scans aren't sensitive enough to make that diagnosis for some reason.  You should also consider ulcer disease.

So, lots to consider , but i think the safest thing to do is get back with your doctor as soon as you can.

Many possibilities.: Causes of left lower abdominal pain can include but are not limited to: ovarian cyst, ectopic pregnancy, diverticulitis, endometriosis, inguinal hernia, ovulation pain, intestinal obstruction, crohn’s disease, abscess, ulcerative colitis, seminal vesicle inflammation, cancer, aortic aneurysm, renal infection or stone or injury.  Get chronic pain checked especially if associated with stool changes.

If your lower abdomen hurts, that could be your skin, muscles, bladder, uterus, or intestines. If the upper part of your abdomen hurts, it could be acid reflux, pancreatitis, or other problems. See a doctor for an assessment.
