i have a skin condition that i'm not sure what it is on my penis, i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend a month ago, then i noticed some redness and also flaky skin, is it std? or some skin infection? i have a picture i can show you

Penile rash: The large majority of penile skin conditions are not STDs, and these are not typical STD symptoms. If your gf has a vaginal yeast infection, that might be a possibility. This forum doesn't examine clinical photos. See a doctor, ideally a dermatologist. Or if you sign up for HealthTap's concierge service, a dermatologist may be willing to examine photos. In the meantime, this doesn't sound serious.

Not an infection: It is believed to be immune response to some stimuli.   Stress , trauma, nutrition, lack of sleep etc.  it is not contagious. Not infectious.  It will go away without treatment.   You can treat for symptoms.

: Maybe/not. The redness may mean infection but it can also be part of the healing process. If there is discharge or increasing discomfort it would more likely be infection. I would contact your doc and discuss your observations for guidance on what to do.

Wound Rednrss: No. Slight redness is expected and is due to inflammatory response. However if it is spreading  and sometimes accompanied with fever then it is infection  and should be treated as such with appropriate antibiotics.

Many things: the list is long but redness, tenderness, effected area warmer than rest of your body, swollen:  these all can indicate infection whether it be just under the skin or deeper or phlebitis to even a blood clot in underlying tissue.  I would definitely have it examined.  I would not just take some antibiotics that r laying around the house.  Go to urgent care

Onychomycosis: These usually require oral medications which can only be obtained by prescription.  See a doctor and get this treated asap.  They can cause permanent loss of nails and other problems if not dealt with contemporaneously.

May be yeast: However the other possibilities here include genital herpes and an undetreated pelvic infection.  Hard to sort this out without viewing the area/examination.  Recommend see GP or sexual health clinic for further examination and testing.  If they're happy after review that it is a yeast infection then they'll be able to take you through treatment options
