i accidentally steam burned my face and used petroleum jelly to cool it off with. i had long hair and it has now hardened with my hair and i can't get it off of my head and my neck. i did this last october and i can't get anyone to believe me now?

: The petroleum jelly should have removed with warm water and soap and water. The warm water would soften the petroleum jelly so that the soap and water could then remove it. Have you tried a scrub-like a face mask type scrub? Also, something like a pumice stone after exposing it to a warm temperature to soften it should help. If none of these things are working, see a dermatologist to remove it.

is using vasaline or petroleum jelly on my hair ok? would it make my hair shiny and less frizzy and  silky? affects & effects plz.

Better choices: Vaseline would tend to make hair greasy, and would be very hard to wash out.  Whatever your ethnicity, i would not recommend vaseline for your hair.  Look in the drugstore - there are a variety of moisturizers and oil treatments available for hair of caucasians as well as people of color (with different hair types).

should i be applying petroleum jelly that contains aleo vera to my bikin line? ( i do so cause i have dark spots&little bumps from of ingrown hairs)

Circumcision: Absolutely. We tell our ostensibly to apply any type of ointment to decrease itching discomfort or redness

i got a ~1cm boil on my inner thigh, close to my panty line, due to the chafing of my pants and underwear. how can i make it go away? i'm applying petroleum jelly to avoid more chafing. should i pop it? it has a visible head?

Accepted Answer

: Boils may drain spontaneously if you apply moist heat several times daily. However, many that size or bigger need to be drained surgically in the office to have the core/lining removed or the recur repeatedly.

i have a little bump on the center of my left eyelid that hurts. i can't see a head. i applied a warm compress and it stings --possibly i scratched on my sleep and caused it. i also applied a little bit of petroleum jelly on it. what else can i do?

: If that bump is where the eyelashes come out, you probably have a sty. If it's on the skin between the eyelashes and eyebrow, likely you have a pimple. You did the right thing, keep apply warm compress every 4-6 hours for the next 2 days, no need for k-jelly.

No: Development of facial hair does not signal the end of puberty.

what do you suggest if i would like to grow more facial hair?

Accepted Answer

Nothing: Unless you suffer from hypogonadism with a very low testosterone then there is nothing to promote facial hair growth. Now if you do have hypogonadism see an endocrinologist, they can start you on testosterone replacement and in a few months you will see facial hair growth.

Accepted Answer

No great answer: Omega fish oil, multivitamins, biotin, and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables will encourage healthy hair growth. There is however, no quick fix to make it grow out darker.

does burnt facial hair grow back normally?

Accepted Answer

Yes: If the hair itself is burnt , new hair will grow in it's place unless the burn was deep enough to cause damage to the underlying hair root.
