Nexplanon: removal, the hormone clears your system in about 4 days,  Ovulation expected about 3 weeks after removal.  if no period 4 or 5 weeks out, and not pregnant, there is likely an ovulation irregularity, that may need treatment from your doctor. PCOS/insulin resistance possibly.

had nexplanon for 5 years, then a new one put in and removed after 11 mos on 11/6.  had my regular cycle entire time. period was due 11/15. still nothing. possible i am pregnant? is it normal for no period after removal? when will test be accurate?

Irregular period: Irregular periods following discontinuation of hormonal birth control is very common. It reflects your body's efforts to recalibrate hormones back to normal levels. It can take up to 6 months to resume normal cycles. Unless you are trying to get pregnant, use an alternative method of birth control every time you have intercourse. If the irregularity persists past 6 months, see your Gynecologist.

i had birth control nexplanon inserted into my arm october 14 2020 i got it taken out december 22 2021. i have been trying to get pregnant, but so far no luck. i did not get my period the month of removal and so far still haven't. i'm at a lost, help?

: It is too soon to be concerned. If you do not get pregnant after one year of unprotected sex, it would be prudent to consult a gynecologist.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

Nexplanon: You should have been counseled that the major side effect of progesterone only contraception is abnormal bleeding. This could be bleeding every day or no bleeding at all or anything in between. The bleeding pattern you describe could be entirely normal. Keep a menstrual calendar to follow your pattern as one is developed.

Yes: As with most other "estrogen-free" hormonal contraceptive methods, cycle control is reduced with the nexplanon.  This also goes for the depoprovera shot, progestin-only pills such as micronor (norethindrone) and ovrette.  The fact is that it is impossible to predict whether a patient with Nexplanon will have amenorrhea (absence of periods) or prolonged spotting or even a full fledged menstrual flow lasting weeks.

Menstrual cycle: if you've been using the nexplanon for a. Of time it may take time in order for your periods to start. This can be up to a couple months. and not had a cycle in a month or two you should notify your gynecologist.

i got my nexplanon out 1/27/16 and its been a week and 3 days i also started taking apri right after. i haven't gotten a period yet. when will i get 1?

Probably in 3-4 wks: When the Nexplanon comes out, you remove the source of the hormones that are suppressing your menses.  By starting the Apri at the same time, you provide your body with an alternative source of basically the same hormones.  In addition to preventing pregnancy, the Apri will continue to suppress your menses thru the first 3+ weeks of the pack.

Can cause bleeding: Irregular bleeding is a common and normal side effect of nexplanon. For some bleeding occurs less frequently than your normal cycle. For others more frequently.
