Probably in 3-4 wks: When the Nexplanon comes out, you remove the source of the hormones that are suppressing your menses. By starting the Apri at the same time, you provide your body with an alternative source of basically the same hormones. In addition to preventing pregnancy, the Apri will continue to suppress your menses thru the first 3+ weeks of the pack.
