good day, im covid + diagnosed 30nov, however my temperature will not decrease and im due at work on friday 11dec. is this normal? or can i get specific medication to assist. have been on viral choice, lictagon effervescents and aspirin.

Still infectious: Covid infection can last longer than 14 days. CDC Guidelines for returning to work after Covid Infection are as follows: minimum of 14 days since onset of symptoms and Fever free for 48 hours without fever reducers and other symptoms are improving. You will not be cleared to return to work until all 3 of these criteria are met, as you can still infect others. Your fever means you are still sick.

At times: Talwin (pentazocine) is a good pain med the IM, IV, and SC route and works well most of the time.  The oral med is fairly good at pain control and has naloxone in it as it is a product for abuse so the added me inhibits its effect and makes it not usable as a illegal use.  Everyone is a individual and their responses vary so in most cases it can work well. Watch kidney function.  Hope this is helpful.

It is addicting. The drugs are combined to get a better total effect at lower doses.

Rest: Sleep better. Reduce stress.  Take electrolytes and make sure you are not dehydrated.  Also make sure you have normal... Urination and bowel movements and no vomiting.  If you have persistant headaches and other symptoms which are associated you should go see your doctor.  Sometimes your headaches are a sign of some other ailment.

Typically, Ibuprofen (advil) or Acetaminophen (tylenol) are used.  Discussing the options with a pharmacist can be helpful, and they can recommend exact dosing based on your childs weight.
