Considerable: That's going to be considerable rad. Exposure, and a radiologist would be able to give you an exact dose.
After taking a detailed hx, one can certainly point towards a specific site and investigate that part. If multiple bones are thought to be affected, then i get a bonescan, and take it from there. Other tests are done as necessary.
See your orthopod or a pain specialist.

The CT: Gives fine detail about the bones of the pelvis and hips. If your doctor is worried about arthritis or femoral-acetabular impingement this may give more information. Best to ask your doctor and relay your concerns.

: It is common knowledge that x-ray studies such as regular x-ray films or CT scans do put out a bit of radiation, and that radiation does not noticeably increase "one particular person's risk of cancer", when added to the radiation risks for cancer she already experiences just by living on planet Earth. The chance of cancer before and after one CT scan are the same. Doctors can't tell a difference.

When i hear temporal wasting i think of a ct of head   i.e. Temporal wasting of brain 

certainly ct's do have a pretty good dose of radiation.

Yes, there risk!: Too many films of the abdomen and pelvis give a substantial x-ray dose, especially if the set-up hasn't been checked and redone for minimal dose.  You haven't said why you had the studies.

: CT scans are useful in diagnosing medical problems. Your Dr will weigh the risks versus benefits of having multiple CT's. More important is your lifetime risk from CT's. If you are needing these every year or more, then you might want to discuss the risks with your Dr.
