Seborrheic: Sounds like it could be seborrheic dermatitis, a common condition of the scalp as you describe. Selenium sulfide shampoos over the counter are effective but if that does not help prescriptions such as ketoconazole 2% shampoo, fluocinolone .01% or ciclopirox 1% shampoos are very effective as well. Peeling off dead : Skin might accidentally lead to pulling off deeper layers of skin. If dead skin is peeling it can be lightly trimmed.

Hair thinning: Hair thinning and abnormal sweating is seen in cases of hyperthyroidism(overactive thyroid). Your physician or an endocrinologist can evaluate you for this. Scalp itch may also be related but your beautician can also advise you about dandruff treatment and your hair care.

: Rashes are very difficult to diagnosis without looking at them.  From your description of where it has traversed, I would be very suspicious of a fungal infection.  These can be notoriously hard to treat, as it can take months of medication to clear them, especially when they involve the scalp and nails. Most oral anti-fungal medications are very good, but need careful monitoring by doctor.

Face?: This may be seborrhea, which can respond to topical antifungals such as nizoral, (ketoconazole) Eurax lotion which decreases the demodex which lives in the pores. Depending on efficacy this is a better approach than chronic steroid use which is only suppressive. In severe cases a trial of oral Nizoral (ketoconazole) may put this into remission.

Yes &amp; no: Might be eczema or baby acne with seborrhea or other things. Infants are prone to a number of different rashes &amp; DX is a very visual thing. Keep the area clean &amp; discuss it with the babies doctor at your next visit.

Several posibilities: A fungus, malassezia lives on scalps of healthy adults without problems, sometimes growing out of control, feeding on oils inyour hair follicles. This can irritate your scalp and cause extra skin cells to grow, die and fall off, clumping with oil from your hair and scalp, making them appear white and flaky in your hair.  You may also have eczema, psoriasis, dry skin, seborrheic dermatitis.

Controlling dandruff: Dandruff (seborrhea) is common. Shampoos with zinc, salicylic acid, selenium, or coal tar are sold in many stores. Nizoral shampoo (contains anti-fungal) is also available. Doctors may also recommend cortisone or kenalog (triamcinolone) sprays. Prevent dryness (don't wash hair too often). A primary doctor or dermatologist can look for psoriasis, eczema, or fungal infections if unusual or worrisome scalp symptoms.
