Gyn eval: When patients have a lot of different symptoms it is best to schedule a visit to work through each one and begin an evaluation. If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. Your urine can be tested for infection. Your pelvic pain will need an exam. Cycle regulation is available for patients with PCOS

age 27 worried about ovarian cancer? irregular periods my entire life, have had chronic lower back pain for about 6 years. now have right ovary pain? ultrasound on the 21st to see about pcos but im terrified i have ovarian cancer. no familyhistory?

: No, you should concern about that deadly disease at your age and the ultrasound findings. The irregular cycles are consistent with PCOS and low back pain is likely a separate issue. See an orthopedist or a physiatrist for your back pain if you have not seen any doctor for this condition. Good luck.

Probably not pcos: Pcos is a hormonal imbalance causing irregular periods, usually associated with weight gain, sometimes acne, unwanted hair growth, - but the small cysts associated with pcos don't cause problems with pain particularly vaginal pain.  Sounds like something else going on. You need an exam, and maybe a 2nd opinion from different doctor.

If severe pain: persists, you should see your doctor or urgent care center.  Ovarian cysts, pelvic infection, endometriosis, are possibilities.

Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.
