Pcos ovulation : It's varied....there is more than just weight related to ovulation. Sometimes there is also insulin resistance that is associated with irregular menses and ovulation. You should use an ovulation kit to help predict your ovulation. Definitely shoot for less than 200lbs. Good luck

PCOS: PCOS accompanied by heavy bleeding is usually due to the thickened lining of the uterus caused by constant stimulation for growth by estrogen.  The estrogen levels are not constant, and occasionally the lining degenerates, resulting in heavy bleeding. The best treatment for PCOS is low dose oral BCP's. Ask your healthcare provider, if there are no contraindications for taking same.

PCOS: Not every women w pcos has the typical characteristics associated with the syndrome.  If your not planning to conceive. Best to be on birth controll pills until the time you want to try to conceive. If you are trying to get pregnant Clomid therapy, possible use of glucophage (metformin). Also many consider laparoscopic ovarian drilling.

PCOS : There is techniquely no cure for pcos. There are different medications to treat the probls associated with pcos. Weight loss in some patient who are overweight or obese is the best non-medication way to treat pcos.
