Hyperpigmentation: Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation is a common and normal response during the healing process.  When traumatized skin heals, redness, followed by dark discoloration occurs.  With time, the site will usually resume normal coloration to match the surrounding skin.   Tight clothing may prolong discoloration due to chronic rubbing and irritation.

White spot  needs Dx: Th e white  spot  needs a diagnosis. Was it there  before you used the elosone cream? What is the correct  spelling of elosone? Dose it have  steroids in it. This can cause  whitening of the skin. You need to have your physician send you to a dermatologist.

Common locations are the area above the breast, the side of the thigh or high on the shoulder blade.  The patch does not have to be over the painful area to be effective.
