i have a full thickness tear in shoulder and a partial tear in bicep tendon. is surgery my best option? have had this for 5 months.

Yes: I presume its a full thickness rotator cuff tear. Its a bit uncommon in your age group. However, if the diagnosis is based on a good physical exam, and it correlates to MRI findings, its probably the correct diagnosis.  Treatment depends on tear configuration, but the natural history of rc tears is to become larger.  Some balanced tears do well with pt.  If pt hasn't helped, then rc repair is the best option. Its done arthroscopically, takes about 1.5hrs, and is out patient. Full healing takes 4-6months.  For the biceps, its usually a significant pain generator, and should be addressed with tenodesis (reattach to humerus) or tenotomy (release). The choice depends on activity level and other factors. Tenotomy is the least invasive, and has excellent results. Surgery is best done by a sports medicine trained orthopedist.

post lifting injury i have a 40% partial thickness tear in all 3/4 expect inlabrum which is only fryed. additionally i had a torn bicep tendon which was corrected bicep tendodesis. im still have constant pain from neck to shoulder, is surgery needed?

Most likely: This is a difficult and complicated orthopedic injury. There is no clear answer for the need for surgery without a full review of your  MRI, your physical exam and your underlying age and health. I suggest you find the best orthopedic surgeon in your area and get an opinion, and then seek an additional (confirmatory) opinion and you will get to the right place.

can a partial tear of the distal bicep tendon cause pain in my forearm, wrist and make my fingers cramp. my injury happened 3 weeks ago.?

Depends: Near the distal biceps is the median nerve. Injury to that area can potentially injure that nerve or swelling puts pressure  on that nerve.  A test called emg/ncv can identify how well that nerve is functioning and help determine the cause. Stop at your local physical medicine and rehab or neurologist doctors office for more details.

Typical: This is typical in your age group.  By age 50, the large majority of men (especially athletes) with have some degree of rotator cuff injury.  My orthopedic colleague once told me, "if you're 35, and not pitching in the big leagues, then just live with it."  obviously that's very general, but rest and physical therapy to strengthen the shoulder should suffice and surgery may not be needed.

Depends: A minor tear in the muscle itself requires only rest to heal.  Antiinflammatory medications like Ibuprofen can be used for discomfort.  Conversely a major tear or a tear in the biceps tendon may require surgical correction.  To determine the type and severity of your tear, a physician should see and evaluate you.

Yes : There is frequently swelling and bruising if the long head of the biceps tendon tore at the shoulder recently.  The biceps muscle tends to ball up closer to the elbow called a Popeye deformity. The swelling and bruising  will go away but the Popeye deformity will remain unless it is surgically corrected which isn't necessary unless there are other injuries like a rotator cuff tear.

Depends: I suggest you get in to see your physician who will take a medical history and do an examination. It could be any of the possibilities you mentioned as well as a number of things you didn't mention.

Possibly: Prolozone causes repair and tightening of the lax structures, partially torn connective tissue and ligaments. Prolozone halts the pain/inflammation cycle. This allows for better circulation, increased blood flow carrying nutrition, and hydration of the damaged tissues. This allows for a healing environment within the joint to develop and results in increased range of motion and decreased pain.
