No in general: As a general matter, individuals allergic to Doxycycline are likely also allergic to minocycline.

Ask the doc: Hida scan done to check for biliary obstruction (including in gallbladder). Generally not painful, but trying to pass gallstones is. Call your doc.

The parts of the body that are included varies from center to center and also depends on the patient's symptoms and cancer histopathology. For e.g. Melanomas can metastasize anywhere in the body and thus real whole body scans are obtained (skull vertex to toes).

Sometimes: Since any human can have a cancer, and since we are not going to scan over 7 billion people, a patient must have signs or symptoms suggestive of cancer, or be in a high risk age group (or another type of group) in order to qualify for some type of cancer screening scan or diagnostic scan. There are many different types of scans for various parts of the body, depending on what cancer is suspected.

i took first part of hida scan and they would not continue it. what could reason be?

Depends: Usually, a hida scan as 2 parts.  The first images the anatomy and sees if all of the tubes connecting the liver, gallbladder and small bowel are open.  If they are and the gallbladder fills up, the second part of the scan is done, giving a medicine to cause the gallbladder to empty (measuring ejection fraction).  If all of the anatomy is not seen, the second part usually cannot be done.

can gender scan at 19 weeks be wrong? i was told girl but i am not convinced. can the boy parts hide at this stage?

Sometimes but rare: An US at 19 weeks is rarely wrong but there are exceptions. Follow up with another US in 4-5 weeks, specifically to look at gender. All the best and remember the important information is that you have a healthy baby regardless of sex.
