Pregnancy...: Depending on a mother's and father's blood type, in pregnancy, the mother can make antibodies that can recognize and destroy a baby's red blood cells (for example, ABO incompatibility and rh disease). Other than that, i can think of no impact that a parent's blood type would have on a child.

Prenatal exposure : to tobacco, drugs &amp; alcohol disrupts fetal brain development from 3 wks. post conception on. Dad adds  2nd-hand smoke of any inhalant. Depending on mom's drugs of choice, intrauterine "strokes" &amp; growth restriction further  damage an atypically developing brain. Genetic  predisposition for mental illness &amp; addiction, unsafe environment &amp; inconsistent, often abusive, parenting yield poor outcomes.

: Get help immediately. There are many online telemedicine sites that specialize in mental health. They can evaluate you and recommend a medical course of treatment including meds, counseling and other techniques. You can also seek help in person from your primary care provider. Mental and sexual health are both available with complete privacy to persons under 18.

: Just talk to anyone.  It does sound like you are trying to get help and that is a good thing.  Sometimes just talking about it, even to a stranger, may prove helpful.  You'd be surprised how people may react, be more helpful than you expected, can share there own similar experiences or lead you to someone who may help you more.  Talk to a nurse, doctor, priest, psychiatrist, call suicide hotline.

Ask for help: It can be a scary discussing personal health issues with parents. In general parents want the best for their children. First ask permission to discuss something important to you. Be authentic and describe what you have been experiencing and for how long. If you are nervous about their response consider discussing that fact as well. Ask them for their support in the process to feel better.

who is going to help provide good health insurance for children of older parents who are seniors when the kids are 26?

Good question: The hopeful political end to this, and it is all political, is universal coverage.  Until that point, hope these children by age 26 have a good job with health coverage.  Society takes care of them for more severe problems if they have no coverage but this of course shifts the cost to everyone who planned ahead.  Watch for this to be a big issue in the 2012 campaign.
