PERHAPS: If you also add daytime sleepiness, or sleep attacks, you are describing "narcolepsy", and indeed, there are several medicines that help.
Recommend you see a neurologist, or pulmonologist with sleep disorder experience, as this can readily be solved.  Although some medicines do disrupt sleep, it is more likely that you possess a sleep disorder.

Several issues: Vocal cord paralysis would not be caused by MS, and nonspecific white matter changes are NOT supportive of an MS diagnosis.  MS does not directly afflict the lung.  Is there something missing here, as otherwise, I cannot support this diagnosis.  If Tecfidera is justified, currently recommending Vumerity due to far less GI adverse events. (same immune effects as Tec.)

Useful combination: Ask your doctor if there is no medical or presence any other psychiatric disorder contraindicating starting a serotonergic medication (Sertraline, Fluoxetine, Citalopram or other) in combination with Mirtazepine and Prazosin.
Mirtazepine will help you with sleep and Prazosin works well for nightmares.
It is important to get an accurate diagnosis of your condition, though.

hi, i am 22 (female) i have herniated disc of l5-s1. ct scan+mri done. doctor in ukraine said to get surgery done because i'm at risk of paralysis but doctor in ireland said not to get surgery. i'm in intense pain. medications and exercise don't work?

: If you have tried physiotherapy and medications with no improvement then you may need surgery. But pl see a doc specializing in it. Hope you feel better

Pain: Strangulated hernia means the blood supple to the bowel is cut off. So this is very painful. And hernia is not reducible. It may also cause bowel obstruction.

Nada: Mi espanol no is bueno.  Si tiene diverticulosis, no tratamiento es necesario.  Hay que comer mucho "fiber". Si hay inflamacion (diverticulitis) y le duele, necesita antibioticas.

Usually, para-suicidal behaviors are suicidal gestures with the goal of not dying and/or attempt to destroy a body tissue, but again, without intent of dying. For example, cutting behaviors.
