See hand specialist: I cannot say what you have without examining you.  This could indicate the beginning of a cystic wrist lesion called a ganglion.  You should see a hand specialist for an evaluation.

i'm experiencing sharp pain on the outside half of top of my hand and wrist mostly when bending forward or back for about a week. what could it be?

Tendonitis: Probably some inflammation in the tendons on the back of the hand/wrist.  Try immobiliizing the wrist with an ace wrap or brace for a week, taking some ibuprofen and avoiding activities that cause pain.

my wrist is going through some pain. it's more painful when i bend my hand downward. pain is on the top of the wrist and i can't put pressure on it?

Injury?: It sounds as if you have an injury to the dorsal wrist capsule or extensor tendons. Wrist splinting, rest, antiinflammatories and ice may help to ease inflammation. If this does it resolve within in 7-10 days, evaluation na d imaging may be recommended.

Sprain Rx R.I.C.E.: This is most likely strain due to excessive or repetitive use.Treat with rice therapy (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and nsaids (like motrin) if it gets worse or progresses, seek medical attention.

First get a diagnosi: As a sprain " can mean so many things see a hand surgeon there could be a contusion or something as severe as a complete ligament disruption even with negative x-rays. early rx includes, ice, splinting and NSAIDs but don't assume the injury is simple if pain continues, it can be quite complex

Yes: Specially if you are fair skinned.

Bubble: The bubble on your hand may represent a ganglion cyst. Have it evaluated by your doctor.

Possible: Sprain or inflammatory process. Trial of anti-inflammatory drug or topicals may help. if symptoms do not resolve see a doctor
