i'm a 16 year old boy who never smoked and is healthy. for the past 2 months, there's this small pain on my right rib cage that i feel every one in a while when i move, what could it be?

Costochondritis?: Could be an area of inflammation between the rib and your sternum.  There's a joint there, but it doesn't move too much.  But that joint can become inflamed causing pains.

Strained rib: The coughing irritated the rib and the attachements- it will be sore for a bit- . Ribs are best used to have on a bbq and not to cause pain in- so, stop coughing so hard and bbq more.

Yes, but...: Constipation often causes gas pains, particularly on the right side where the build up of pressure from the column of solid stool backed up in the colon may interfere with gas making its way out in the normal fashion. The large amount of bacteria causes more gas too than usual--gentle laxatives may help, but discuss with your doc as other things might be going on as well.

Catamenial pneumotho: While the association between menstrual periods and chest pain is more usually coincidental , catamenial pneumothorax needs to be ruled out . Would recommend to talk to your doctor, and if necessary a pulmonologist .  Catamenial pneumothorax is still a rare condition and in your case anxiety associated with menstruation might also be possible.

Mid back pain : This is very common if you have nerve root irritated. A rib fracture or trauma irritate the nerve nearby, or herpes dermatitis may also induce such kind symptom. If the pain persists, you would be better to see you primary physician.
