i am taking trileptal and experiencing pain in the roof of my mouth, is this a warning symptom or one that simply comes with anticonvulsants?

When you go for your regular Dental appointments does your Dentist mention anything out of the ordinary? Post nasal drip: Possibly it could be from the mucus present from the post nasal drip.  If it lasts for more than a week I would have your dentist take a look at it.  It could be a sign of something else.
