Floss, Brush,  Diet: You should floss at least once daily and brush twice daily.  Drink plenty of water, minimize sugary drinks and foods.  Of course, you should see your dentist regularly.

Preventative is key!: As i tell my patients, being pro-active and focus on prevention is keys to a healthy mouth as well as improved overall health.  Brushing regularly at least twice a day coincided withed flossing  daily will help maintain the health of your teeth.  Routine check-ups with your dentist (every 6 months) will not only help with your health, but catch pathology's early so it's not as painful or costly.

Not a good thing to : Probably harming your good antibodies and salivary enzymes than benefiting.
Stop doing that this won't have any whitening effect

No: You would need to have years of neglect, and severe periodontal disease before a tooth would come out on its own.  Even then you would lose one at a time, not all of them together.

Bite instability: if your "bite" is always changing, sometimes, the position of the teeth and the way that the jaw muscles move the jaws is not coincident. assuming that your teeth are not moving because of gum/bone disease, stabilizing your bite with an occlusal guard and then adjusting the teeth so that they interact harmoniously may help

Well : Can be strain of the TMJ joint or could be Masseter muscle spasm. Check with your dentist for specific e valuation and advise

Pain: See a local dentist to determine the cause of the pain. We cannot diagnose these types of situations over the internet.

hurts to open my mouth wide. i did have a habit of grinding and clinching my teeth so maybe that caused it?

Accepted Answer

No quick fix: Clenching occurs during the day, grinding of the teeth at night.  There are many variables involved with clenching and by becoming aware of it often causes one to clench more.  A daytime splint (mouthpiece) can help, but i would recommend a custom one, not an otc mouthpiece.  You really should be evaluated to determine the best options, with a thorough history and an exam.
