Strained hip flexor : it could be that you've strained a hip flexor muscle and with ice, rest and a short course of physical therapy you should improve if a tincture of time doesn't work.

Could be muscle prob: This could be muscle problem with trigger point. You can have your doctor refer to someone to try trigger point injections.

Get checked!: Severe pain is always scary!  Sometimes it ends up being a temporary minor problem, other times it can be serious.  Pain in that area could indicate a hernia.  If there is pain with a hernia that may mean it is incarcerated (strangulated), which is serious.  See a doc quickly.  If the pain does not resolve promptly, worsens, he has fever, vomiting go to an ER!

Good question: Are we sure the problem is lymph node?  Most lymphomas would be "hot" on pet.  An infection could be low grade positive too.  Not swollen? Is there anything to biopsy?

Itchy rash: Itchy rash. Last menstrual period? Make sure you're not pregnant. LMP? Past medical history? Most likely, you are having an allergic reaction to something you touched in that area. There are other possibilities. You can try over the counter topical steroid and benadryl to treat the itch.
