Not likely a Worm: Skin parasites rarely move enough to be felt under the skin. But, if you have been exposed, it might be possible. 
More likely a muscle spasm if it moves on it's own. Or a hernia. 
If it moves when you touch it, then likely a lipoma [large fat cell].

See your physician.: What you are describing sounds like pain related to the muscles or bones of the ribs, which resolves with rest and over the counter pain medication. But i recommend seeing your physician who can do a full history and physical exam to make sure there is a not a different specific cause that needs attention.

You : You may be straining your back muscles or facet joints.  I would recommend alternating with your right side and sleeping on your back.  You may also benefit from trying out a different mattress. If it does not improve or worsens i recommend discussing it with your primary care doctor.  Good luck!

pain in the spleen area, already have had tests run for pancreatitis and lower and upper endoscopy.  ct's from a couple months ago were nomral.  i am experiencing stabbing pain in my left side, just under my rib cage which radiates straight down my abdome

Muscle spasm: Upscale spasm of the abdominal wall (or muscle strain, tear, etc.) can ALS be a cause. Sometimes people will even feel a bulge which sounds like a hernia, but may in fact be the contracting muscle. Usually the area is manually massaged, and there is pain relief after a few minutes. A ct scan should be able to tell the difference, but it is very unlikely to be a hernia in that area. Try aspercreme.

Kidney?: The organ you describe is probably a kidney, but you can experience pain in that area coming from a number of different organs, including liver, stomach, muscles and even the heart.

If in pain...: Lipomas do not hurt unless they are in position to be irritated, or transmit pressure to a sensitive area, such as rib. If you are symptomatic, then you have one option.  Surgical resection of this benign fatty tumor!

Confusing : You were told it was a low attenuating lesion? Generally not the term physicians use when telling patients results of CT or MRI scans.  Usually the terms used are cysts or lesions or masses.  Whether it needs further evaluation or not. More info would be helpful.  However lesions of the spleen aren't common and usually are benign.  You may want to ask your doctor for more info.
