Lymph nodes : generally means inflammation or some chronic infection like virus or atypical bacterial infection, but more serious conditions such as lymphoma need to be ruled out if persist for more than 8 weeks. You should see a doctor, perhaps infectious disease specialist for routine blood tests. May also need a lymph node biopsy. Don't delay evaluation

can anyone tell me what causes the left front big muscle/vein on your neck to be larger than the right plus muscle tightness and slight pain on left side of neck ?

Pinched Nerve/Muscle: Most times back pain that is sudden onset will resolve. He should use anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen, aleve around the clock and even tylenol (acetaminophen) to help.  If this does not resolve you should see your doctor for a muscle relaxant as well.  If it still does not resolve, I would recommend seeing a spine specialist for a full evaluation and testing. You may need to get an MRI to see inside.

Muscular pain: Most likely it is musculoskeletal pain, you may need some local analgesic cream or anti inflammatory medicine.

: It seems that you suffers from an acute neck shoulder syndrome which could be caused by a poor neck position during sleep on the previous night or you overdid something on the previous day, such as carrying or lifting a heavy object with the right arm. This condition is usually self limited, you can take advil OTC every 6-8 hours for a day or two and continue with your normal activities. Good luck
