Onychomycosis: This is likely a fungal infection of the toenail (onychomycosis) -- treatment options include medications (taken once daily for three months), seeing a podiatrist to have the nail addressed, or the use of otc Vicks vapo rub (there is anecdotal evidence to support the use of Vicks vapo rub twice daily for several months to reduce the coarseness of the nail).

The nail growth: Stopping can happen but you should return to your doctor to see why you have pain. Pain should no longer be present.

If you have to wait a day or  two, you might have your Dad or Mum take you to the Emergency facility.

Foot Doctor...: Seems the big toe was injured at the time with Hematoma (blood clotting under that toe nail). With time and healing the nail and the surrounding area has deformed a little. best to see a Foot Doctor, Podiatrist at this time for more restorative treatment.

both of my big toe nails have multiple layers of nail. they stopped growing because of an accident on one and an ingrown toenail (2x) on the other. right big toe nail is short (length) and tall. left big toe nail is shaped only with one portion raise?

: Most of the time the portion of the toenail causing this problem has to be removed. If not it will continue to cause infection. See a podiatrist and have it cared for properly

Circulation: Without a prior history of trauma to case bruising, my first thought would be poor circulation. As tissues receive less oxygenated blood, they turn blue and dusky. This needs to be checked promptly. See a podiatrist for an examination. If findings warrant, they will order circulation testing and possibly even refer you to a vascular surgeon.
