i have chest pain on the left side! but i can still walk do a walk even though the pain is present continually for the past 3 days?

Chest sore to touch?: If touch makes the area tender it is probably not your heart. You seem pretty young to have heart blockage disease. Probably you strained the muscles and it is sore. Do you smoke or use drugs? Is there family history of heart disease? If you answered yes to the two questions then see a doctor. If sore to touch take pain medication and massage the muscles with liniment.

Usually not serious: Sharp knife like pain in the chest in your age group is typically not serious. It can indicate several causes including Heart burn, a pinched nerve in the chest or chest wall muscle spasm. These are typically one time or short lasting episodes that do not return. If you experience repeated episodes of sharp knifelike pain, see a Dr for a thorough evaluation.

All chest pain: Must be taken seriously. If the pain occurs predictably whenever you walk it is quite concerning for heart disease. It is also more concerning when associated with sweating, nausea, shortness of breath, arm, back or jaw pain. If pain at rest is new or associated with these symptoms hear disease also must be considered.

Yes: You have enough symptoms to be rightfully concerned. Hopefully, your symptoms may turn up to be inconsequential. However, you need to be evaluated by a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Relieving your symptoms can be by medicine, surgery or observation/advisory in nature.

Chest pain: I would worry. Any chest pain associated with light activity.is concerning. If you smoke, have diabetes, hypertension, a family history of heart disease I would be very concerned. Seek a.ER and do a EKG, and get set up.for a potential stress test if the initial tests are ok.

Probably nothing....: given that you are young and presumably otherwise with no comorbidities, feeling your heart beat after exercise can be normal. Normal response to exercise is increased heart rate. That may have been perceived by u as palpitations; or u could have an extra early beat or two- APC or PVC. when i run or walk fast and for long time, i have a bit chest pain but not always. is it associated with propranolol 20 i take everyday? is it mvp?

Chest pain &amp; MVP: Are you on the Propranolol because of episodes of irregular heart beat related to your MVP? Folks with MVP can experience some chest discomfort with exercise. Make sure you discuss with your heart doctor. Could consider stress test to see if chest pain with exercise might be related other problem. Good luck.
