Chest pain: Lower center chest pain on gulping food  appears to me coming from esophagus. First you should not be gulping food, should be chewing and then swallow in small morsels. You may have to check with your doctor or a GI specialist to get a definitive diagnosis.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (like Ibuprofen or naproxen) can provide some relief but it may be incomplete in some people.

Heartburn: The joining point of your swallow tube to the stomach is located just in back of the heart &amp; slightly left of the center of your chest. Brief squeezing pain would be likely if you have a little back wash/leaking of stomach acid while the stomach squeezes your meal. Antacid tablets could provide some rapid relief.

Multiple Causes: Chest pain can be a symptom of heart disease but may be may other things such as esophageal spasms, great vessel disease, respiratory (asthma, COPD, bronchitis, infections, lung collapse), and muscle problems to name a few.  It really depends on the clinical situation and other symptoms you may be having.  it is very unlikely that at 23 it is serious but should see a doctor to get more information

Muscular: Depending on how vigorously you were wrestling, he could have fractured your sternum or dislocated a rib, but that's extreme. More likely you have a "pulled muscle".
