Depends: This could be an infection, a pilonidal cyst, a rectal spasm, hemorrhoid or tear/fissure. I would suggest an exam by your doctor if this pain persists.

i coughed very hard while deficating, felt a pop inside me.now lots of pain and pressure 3 inches above my rectum. i feel lumps under my skin putting painful pressure on my upper buttock. is this a hernia?

Rectal : Rectal hernias are very rare. They are often confused with hemorrhoids. Rectal prolapse is a possibility (rectum protruding through the anus). Regardless. You need to see your doctor right away for an evaluation. If you still have the pain and pressure and you are unable to see your doctor present to your local urgent care or er.

Not usually : Pain in that area may be associated with hemorrhoids, anal fissures, rectal abscess,fistula,  rectal tumors.

Multiple causes : Lumps under the skin in this location can be a number of different things. Epidermal cysts, pilonidal cysts, lipomas, and abscesses are common lesions found in this area. There are also other more rare possibilities. See a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to have the area evaluated for possible removal by excision.

i keep getting boils in my rectum and anal area also on my buttocks cheeks why is this. how can i get rid of them, and avoid them.

had laparascopic myomectomy 9 days ago. 1 large fibroid 8cm diameter posterior. no incision on uterus. been having lower pelvic pains. especially shooting towards my intestines, rectum, lower backside. worse after bowel movements. is this normal?

: It may or may not be normal. Laparoscopic procedures involve placing an inert gas inside the abdomen to perform the procedure and usually it is air under the diaphragm that causes shoulder discomfort post procedure. However, what you have described needs to examined to make sure there is not a bowel complication or perforation. See your surgeon ASAP.
