Possibly Raynaud's: Raynauds involves cold or stress induced vasospasm of small vessels in hands and feet.  It is really more of an annoyance than a harmful problem.  Calcium channel blockers are the most common medication that physicians use to treat the symptoms of raynauds. The main drawback is the side effects from these medicines.  Keeping your hands and feet warm remains the best treatment.

Are they swollen?: Or inflammed? If it is pain only, then it's arthralgia. If associated with swelling, warmth, redness, then it's indicative of inflammation.

Try to protect your hands from irritation and from sun exposure, and buy hydrocortisone cream and use it twice a day, It may take months to lighten.

Reduce washing and: First, you must minize the cause..Which is excessive washing. Then, add mositurizer..Use some that has a bit more grease. Topical Hydrocortisone may help..But this cream is quite weak, so you may need a script from your doc for a stronger one. But above all, avoid excessive washing. Wear gloves to do your work so u will need less washing..Goog luck.
