Get an evaluation: You know something isn't right.  It's NOT impossible that anxiety can cause all these findings, but it seems unlikely.  Perhaps you have a heart rhythm disturbance, or more concerning an Endocrine disturbance.  Ignore it at your own peril.  Get seen and get well soon.

after exercise or standing up very  i get flashing zig zag vision in corner of eyes. do you know why?

Accepted Answer

Orthostatic: Perhaps you became orthostatic after exercise or sudden change in position when your blood pressure suddenly dropped and you had the visual phenomenon you described. If it was brief and not repeating, i would not worry about that.

See below: Possibly just increased heart rate with pulsations of the blood vessels behind and within your eyes.  However, if significant pain, see your doc.

some while ago, my eye area started aging instantly upon exertion, especially after exercise. now even sitting/standing up causes sagging and the whole eye area is painful. eye checks and blood tests havent revealed any obvious cause. can you help?

Neurologist: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Your symptoms suggest a neurological issue and it would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably a neurologist.

irritable pink/redness round the eyes (mostly eyelids).  worse after exercise/sweating.  also after alcohol they get much worse.  causes dry/dead skin?

Stop the alcohol: You may be allergic to something that is touching your eyelids (new nail polish, perfume, makeup) if your family or you has a history of hayfever, asthma, allergies or ezcema-it could be ezcema. You need to see a dermatologist. Until then stop all makeup, nailpolish, perfume. An otc jydrocortisone ointment 1% may help till then.

Several reasons: For post exercise headaches. Dehydration, hypoglycemia, prolonged increase in blood pressure, all or in part can factor.Address these all or one by one.

Accepted Answer

Yes: People recovering from a concussion are susceptible to easy fatigue which will contribute to recurrence of symptoms.  Build up your exercising starting slowly and building up slowly to avoid the tiring effect.

: Blood pressure rise&amp; accelerated heart rate are normal during vigorous exercise and if these responses are far &amp;above what you experience at rest, you'll feel pronounced head throbbing during &amp;after exercise. Being out of shape your heart rate may take longer to reach baseline resting heart rate. We often see similar reactions during treadmill stress testing. Your going to gradually improve.

i get sinus & head pain & a chesty cough that lasts 1-2 hours after exercise! any suggestions on how to combat that?

Accepted Answer

Allergies/asthma?: You may have some allergies and exercise induced asthma.  Try Claritin or Zyrtec for congestion and nasal allergies. See your doctor about an inhaler to help with the exercise induced wheezing and cough.  Good luck!
