i have a sharp pain in the heel of my foot. it only hurts when i walk down steps.?

Heel Pain: Heel pain in any shape or form begins and starts with plantar fasciitis.  This small ligament that attaches the base of the heel to the muscles on the bottom of the foot can become very inflammed and painful.  A tight achilles tendon is also associated with heel pain.  If the pain is more in the middle of the heel, then advanced imaging may be necessary to diagnose the problem.

i hurt my lower back.  after sitting the first few steps hurt all the way down to my heels.  any stretches i could do or physical therapy?

Avoid long sitting.: Get up and stretch frequently may be best option. To relieve the pain in your back make it a habit of lying flat on your back everyday bending your hips and knees and rock on your back would help relieve the spasm of the back muscles. You could check some Yoga poses as well on the Web.

already having heel pain. tape was stuck to my shoe and pulling foot down.  new pain in sole area. only took a few steps and removed tape. still sore.

See podiatrist: I am not sure why the tape stuck to your shoe would cause new pains. If you are having heel pains and sole pains I suggest that you see a podiatrist. Plantar fasciitis is a common cause of heel pain. Ice, heel cups and stretches can help but seeing podiatrist may give you quicker relief.

i have hypertrophy of the muscle of my right leg due to an injury (fell down steps). it doesn't bother me at all, but is it okay to massage it?

Yes: This is not a problem, but I don't know all of the aspects of you case. You can check with your physician. Is this an old injury or a recent injury. If old I can see a possible reason for  the  hypertrophy but not a recent injury

i was going down the steps and turned my foot.it felt like something pulled.it's on the top of my foot to the ankle.i can't put any pressure on it.

If there is: Bruising on the lateral ankle with swelling and you absolutely can't tolerate any pressure you may need x-ray, but typically just the anterior tibio-fibular ligament is sprained and only requires ice, elevation and early mobilization with bracing.  Best to have your doctor or a good urgent care doctor take a look.

when i go down steps or plant my left leg to turn, i am getting a sharp pain under my knee cap & it feels like my knee is going to give out.?

See your doctor: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

how does landing on a straight leg tear your acl? if you jump down 4 steps on a straight knee can you tear your acl? how much force is needed?

Force overload: Acl injuries commonly occur with a non contact rotational motion on a planted extremity. Could occur from a jump down stairs if force exceeds what the knee can tolerate.
