It sounds like: More than a vitamin deficiency is going on. Have you ruled out other causes?
Magnesium is usually good for muscle cramps but if your complaining of pain i'd look for all possible causes.

There are two major: diagnostic categories for foot tingling. The first is a radiculopathy: this is the one that starts in the spine with compression of a nerve that supplies the feet. The other major category is peripheral  neuropathy: when the nerves out in the periphery supplying the feet are impaired. Common causes are diabetes, toxins, autoimmune diseases (lupus, etc), medications, alcoholism. Need complete eval!

Not typically: Vitamin B12 along with vitamin b6 and Folic Acid have a crucial role in nerve function. Low or high levels of vitamin B12 can cause symptoms affecting the nervous system; however, to have a one-sided foot drop and a mono neuritis (one nerve) multiplex is not as common - it's usually systemic (overall).  Talk to your primary care physician for a complete work-up, a possible referral to neurology.

Yes: It is infamous for this. And the damage can be permanent. The individual perineal nerve is less likely to be involved than a stocking-glove distribution. “Vegetarian’s neuropathy” is all too common in folks who do not supplement.

my feet are always cold. i dont have raynauds, all blood tests came back fine for iron, ferritin, etc. i take vitamin c for iron absorption. if i dont wear socks, my toes will turn purple. ive had this all of my life. hands get cold too. advice?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Regular aerobic exercise may help. Start your day with 30 minutes of exercise at an intensity that is easily tolerated. It may take three months or so to see the full effect. If that does not help it would be prudent to see a doctor. Moderately low: Normal B12 levels for adults are 200-900 pg/mL. So 160 IS low.  Also, many older adults will experience symptoms of deficiency even if the B12 is normal, but in low normal range.  You must have been tested and learned that you lack intrinsic factor, a protein that helps the intestine absorb vitamin B12, or have other malabsorption issues, hence the need for injections.
