Headaches. : More details are needed. Please see a doctor. A new pattern of severe headaches should be considered urgent. Most headaches are not urgent conditions.  There are multiple types of headaches.

Expected: To develop a middle ear infection you retain mucous behind the ear drum which becomes food for the germs that cause the infection. The mucous muffles hearing in what should be an air filled space.The mucous/muffling may remain for days/weeks after the germs are killed by antibiotics. Normal hearing should return gradually but may take a while.

This is bacterial, an evaluation and treatment is advised.Prior to antibiotics, hearing loss due to chronic middle ear disease was not uncommon and a significant complication called mastoiditis requires surgical drainage.

Sinusitis: True sinusitis requires oral antibiotics.I believe you have a viral upper respiratory tract infection.
 Nasal congestion can cause ear discomfort and is treated with nasal decongestant spray. Gargling with warm salt water and or sucking on lozenges relieves sore throat.

Xylitol: Xylitol is a natural sugar and breaks up biofilm in the body.  That's where germs mulitply.  It is found in a nasal spray called xlear (pronounced "clear") and in chewing gum called spry. Depends: There are a few middle ear infections that are triggered by viruses and heal on their own within a few days.Simple pain control is all that would be a benefit. However, true pus generating middle ear infections are caused by bacteria &amp; require antibiotics for cure. Untreated they can go on to cause complications including mastoid infections/hearing loss. Have it evaluated soon if not improved

my husband has dizziness issues & dr. said it was inner ear not working at proper level. meds. dont work is there anything else it could be?

Multiple causes: While the inner ear can cause dizziness, it can also be caused by the nerve to the inner ear or by problems in the brainstem.  A neurologist can help identify the culprit and guide treatment with medications or physical therapy.
